Set which weekdays each person works. A change takes effect on the "apply from" date and every day after it — past days keep the existing schedule, so history stays accurate. These patterns drive both the operational calendar and the printable schedule.
Doctors follow fixed operatory rotations and aren't edited here — to mark a doctor off a specific day, open that day in the operational calendar and use "Mark doctor out". Assistants' weekday availability is shown so the calendar can flag a conflict if one is assigned on a day they don't work.
